3.How long does rhinoplasty take time?

The duration may vary depending on the technique applied in the surgery. Closed surgeries are completed in about 2 hours, while open surgeries can take up to 4 hours.

4.Will there be any scars after rhinoplasty?

Depending on your doctor's decision, rhinoplasty surgery can be performed in 2 ways. In closed surgery, since the incisions are inside the nose, there is no problem such as scarring. In open surgery, small scars may occur in the lower parts of the nose, as an incision will be made from the outside. However, these will not be obvious unless you look very carefully.

5.Will there be pain after rhinoplasty?

Although it is a minor surgery, patients feel almost no pain after the operation. It is quite easy for post-surgery patients. Patients who come out of surgery within a few hours can return to their homes.

6.When can one return to social life after rhinoplasty?

You can return to your social life in approximately 1 week. After the splints placed inside and outside your nose are removed, there will be no problem. Your bruises will be greatly reduced and only a slight swelling will remain. There will be nothing that stands out.

7.Is there an age limit for rhinoplasty surgery?

Anyone whose nose development has been completed can undergo this surgery. For this, the age of 18 was taken as the lower limit. There is no upper limit in rhinoplasty.

8.Can breathing problems be resolved with rhinoplasty?

As a result of problems such as disorders in the nose and enlargement of the nasal flesh, breathing problems arise. These problems greatly reduce the patient's quality of life. After rhinoplasty surgery, breathing problems are eliminated and the patient is offered a comfortable life.

9.How do bruises and swellings occur after rhinoplasty surgery?

Steroid treatment can be applied before rhinoplasty surgery for bruises and swellings. After the surgery, swelling and bruises will go away by applying ice and various creams on the recommendations of the doctor.

10.Can I continue to wear glasses after rhinoplasty?

According to the details of your surgery, you should not wear glasses for at least 1 month. This period can be extended up to 6 months.

11.Can I drive a car after rhinoplasty surgery?

If you cannot choose another way, you can drive after about 24 hours. However, it would be better for you not to drive for 2-3 days.

12.Can I smoke before and after rhinoplasty?

You need to stop smoking about 15 days before rhinoplasty. You should not smoke for at least 1 month after the surgery. Otherwise, the nicotine in cigarettes will delay the healing of wounds, as it has a constricting effect on the vessels.

13.What should be done before hair transplantation?

You should not drink alcohol and use blood thinners within 1 week before hair transplantation. If you can, you should quit smoking 2 days before. If not possible, you should reduce it as much as possible. In order not to increase bleeding, B and E vitamins can be taken 1 week before the operation. It will also be good for you to wear comfortable clothes that can come off without rubbing on your head.

14.Will there be any scars in hair transplantation?

There are 3 sections in hair transplantation: 1) Removal of Roots 2) Opening of Channels 3) Hair Transplantation. The thickness of the micropunch from which the roots are taken in the first section should be between 0.6-0.7 mm. This size may vary according to the thickness of the hair follicle. If the thickness increases, scars will form in the area.

15.When does the hair grow after hair transplantation?

After hair transplantation, the transplanted hair will start to grow in about 2 months, but this will not completely cover the skin. In about 6-7 months, the hair will appear to cover the skin. Complete recovery may take 1-2 years.

16.Will the transplanted hair fall out again?

Hair loss will be seen in the transplanted hair within 2 weeks after the hair transplant and 80% of the hair will be shed in about 2 months. After the 2nd month, it will come off permanently and cover the skin in 6-7 months.

19.When can I swim in the sea or pool after hair transplantation?

You can swim in the sea within 1 week after hair transplantation. You have to wait 2 weeks before you can enter the pool. This is because the chloride level in the pool is too high.

20.When can hair transplantation be done again after hair transplantation?

You can have hair transplantation again in 6-7 months, but the recommended period is at least 1 year. Because the transplanted hair will regain its final appearance in about 1 year.

21.How long can the transplanted hair grow?

The hair transplanted in hair transplantation is the person's own hair. You can do the same to your transplanted hair as you normally take care of and lengthen your hair. The transplanted hair is your own hair and will grow normally.

22.When can sports be done after hair transplantation?
